list_channels
List the connected social accounts and their platforms. Use the returned
channel ids with create_post.
create_post
Draft or schedule a post or thread.
Provide
body, thread, media_ids or media_urls. Omit scheduled_at and schedule_in_minutes to save a draft.
Media follows each network’s rules: up to 4 images or one video on X, up to 4
images on Bluesky and Mastodon, up to 20 images on LinkedIn, and one video on
YouTube. A scheduled post that a network would reject is refused with the reason.
TikTok posts can only be saved as drafts from an AI tool. TikTok requires the
creator to choose who sees each post and agree to its terms, so you schedule
TikTok drafts yourself in the Postbase composer.
get_post
Get one post by post_id, with how it went on each channel: status
(draft, scheduled, publishing, published or failed), the live url
once it’s published, the error if it failed and retry_at if it will be
tried again automatically, the channel’s own text, and its latest metrics
(likes, views and so on) where the network reports them. A summary counts
published, failed and pending channels.
update_post
Edit a draft or scheduled post by post_id. It takes the same fields as
create_post (except idempotency_key), and only the ones you pass change.
Pass scheduled_at or schedule_in_minutes to reschedule, or to schedule a
draft; scheduled_at: null turns the post back into a draft. A post that has
started publishing can’t be edited. Returns the post as get_post does.
retry_post
Send a post again, right away, to the channels where it failed. Channels where
it already published are left alone, so nothing goes out twice. Check
get_post first: a channel whose connection expired needs reconnecting in
Postbase before a retry can work.
get_analytics
How published posts performed: each post’s channels with their latest
impressions, likes, comments, shares and saves (where the network reports
them), and totals for the range. Defaults to the last 30 days, newest first.
Same data as the REST analytics endpoint.
list_media
List the images and videos in your Postbase media library,
newest first (up to 50). Filter with type (image or video) or search
(part of a file name). Pass the returned ids to create_post as media_ids.
add_media
Add an image or video to your media library from a public https:// link,
and get back its id for media_ids. JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, MP4, MOV or WebM, up
to 200 MB. Files count toward your plan’s storage. (create_post and
update_post also take media_urls directly.)
list_scheduled
List scheduled/queued posts. Optionally filter by status (e.g. scheduled
or draft).
cancel_post
Cancel a scheduled post by post_id — it reverts to a draft, which you can
reschedule with update_post.
